The NHL is now officially into the fourth year of its inaugural season.
In its first three seasons, the league has been a success, but the current campaign is shaping up to be even more impressive.
The first round of the playoffs has been dominated by young players like Ryan O’Reilly, Sam Reinhart and Joffrey Lupul, all of whom were among the top-three scorers in the League this season.
There have been plenty of others who have been overshadowed by their contemporaries, however.
The top five forwards in scoring (O’Reilly-Lupul-Lakanen-Benn-Goligoski) is the only thing the NHL has done well this season, as it has seen a number of forwards take big strides to become elite NHL scorers.
But the top five scorers on the team have also seen their team lose some key pieces, as they have been outscored by the rest of the team.
One such casualty was the Dallas Stars’ Tyler Seguin.
He is not the only star in the lineup who has been hit hard this season; Tyler Segerstrom, Mattias Janmark, Alexander Radulov and Colton Sissons are all missing significant chunks of time with injuries.
There has been also a noticeable drop in the production of some of the other top players.
That includes Patrick Kane, who has not scored a point since November 20.
Kane’s point production has been very good this season (5.8 per cent), but he has also been a major part of the Stars’ downfall.
In just three games this season Kane has scored four goals, and the average goals per game for players in that position is 2.75.
In the playoffs, Kane has played his way into the top ten of points in the entire league, and he’s scored two goals or more in all four games.
Kane is a prime candidate for a Hart Trophy.
He has the best goal-scoring rate among players in his position, which is a key attribute for a superstar like Kane.
Kane has been particularly strong in the playoffs; in the first round against the Los Angeles Kings, he scored the game-winner in overtime.
His game has been so good in the past, that when you look at the playoff record against other players, the Stars are currently tied for the best playoff record.
In this way, Kane is helping the team the most.
Kane, of course, is also a big part of their goal scoring, which has been the main factor behind their success.
The Dallas Stars have had a few rough patches this season too, but that hasn’t led to a complete collapse.
They are one of the league’s hottest teams, and they have managed to hang on to the top spot for much of the season.
The Stars have not had a losing season in the regular season, but their record against teams outside the top 10 is much better than the record against the rest.
In fact, they have actually posted a better record against some of their own rivals, like the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins.
While the Stars have struggled in the postseason, their success has been aided by some key players.
There are two players who have led the way for the team, Jamie Benn and Tyler Seager, both of whom have been on the receiving end of some nasty hitings during the playoffs.
Benn has been an absolute monster for Dallas this season as he leads the team in scoring and has also put up big numbers in games he’s played, but his team has lost four of those five games.
In the last game of the first-round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Benn scored the overtime winner to tie the game.
In those five contests, Benn has scored six goals, including the game winner, in four games, and has nine points in 10 games in the series against Pittsburgh.
Seager has scored 10 goals and 11 points in nine games in these playoffs.
In all, Benn and Seager have contributed 15 points, while Seager’s 12 points are the most of any player in the top 20 of scoring among players.
Seguins 17 points are also the most for any player with a 20-goal season.
While some of these players are in the Hall of Fame, the fact that the Stars still have so many of them in their locker room is another indication of the success of the players and the team they have led.
The other Stars star is Jaromir Jagr, who is still a big reason for the success the team has been having.
Jagr has had a very good year so far, as he is fourth in the league in goals with 27, behind only the Sedins, Crosby and Malkin.
Jagrs production is still down, but it has been helped by a number, like scoring three goals or two more than any other player in his class.
Jagr’s impact on the game has not only been very positive, but
