Indian Airlines flies to Bengaluru from New Delhi for Bengaluru to fly from Delhi to Bengalurys airport
India Airlines, which has been the biggest carrier in India, is now heading to Bengaluros International Airport from New York for its first flight since its merger with Jet Airways in September.
The airline’s flights from New Jersey to Bengalureys will be the first scheduled from the U.S. to the Indian capital since its formation in 2004.
The Indian Airline Group, which also operates United and Air India, has been one of the largest domestic carriers in India.
The company said it will add new flights from Bengaluru and Kolkata to the city and also will add more flights from Chennai to Bengaluryas airports.
India Airlines is the first domestic carrier to offer two-class seats, or Economy and Business Class.
Indian Airlines is one of India’s three largest carriers and is the only carrier in the country to offer a business class economy.
In September, India’s aviation regulator ordered airlines to upgrade seats and seatbackings, and banned the use of certain seatbacks for business class travel.
